The Longboard 10'0" DDC - Deluxe Double Chamber brings the classic longboard shape to the water as an inflatable – a fantastic choice for anyone who wants to cruise and surf. Based on the composite outline, the extra length offers good glide into waves, while the nose rocker prevents nose diving.

With 10'0" x 30" x 4" (304.8 x 76.2 x 10.2 cm), 189 L and 9.5 kg it is designed for paddlers from 40 to 100 kg. The Deluxe Double Chamber construction with its second chamber provides a stiff, reactive ride – complemented by kick tail, edge release and thruster setup.

Shape: classic longboard style

The classic longboard shape, now inflatable: the Longboard Inflatable is based on the outline of Starboard’s composite longboards. The extra length gives you good glide into waves, while the nose rocker prevents nose diving.

Solid stability

The straight outline and wider nose provide solid stability, while the pulled-in tail helps swing the board through turns. The wide standing area adds even more confidence.

Rigid feeling: double chamber

The double chamber construction increases overall stiffness for a snappier, more reactive ride. The second chamber sits in front of the centre, controlling the shape there and keeping the nose from flexing.

Curved rocker line

The nose rocker keeps the board from pearling on steep drops and radical manoeuvres. The tail rocker lifts the nose during turns so you can change direction with ease.

Kick tail

The raised kick tail gives your back foot a clear reference point and makes step-back turns easier and more controlled. You have something to push against and pivot the board with more confidence, stability and control.

Parabolic rail reinforcement

Additional parabolic rail reinforcements on the deck and bottom maximise the board’s rigidity.

Edge release

The edge release technology gives you extra speed in your bottom turns and more release when you hit the lip.

Drop fin box

The shape of the drop fin box improves hydrodynamic efficiency and halves its drag. Smart reinforcements also reduce the weight by 10 %.

Fin setup: thruster

The fins sit close to the rails for the quickest response and plenty of control in turns. The thruster setup consists of one centre fin (6.75" Net Positive) and two side fins (Arma Core, 4.5" or 4.7") and feels predictable and controlled in manoeuvres.

Welded Rail Technology

Welded Rail Technology creates a completely airtight, mechanically bonded seam without the risk of glue weakening over time. This makes Starboard inflatables stronger and longer lasting.

Construction: Deluxe Double Chamber

Deluxe Double Chamber is Starboard’s safest and stiffest inflatable construction and brings the board one step closer to a hard-board feel. The double side walls around the second chamber stiffen the board significantly, and the chamber also provides extra safety flotation in an emergency. Fusion Woven Dropstitch makes the board extra strong and stiff, and outer rail bands add strength and stiffness.
